Chartered in 2004, the Iredell County PWB is
an active group of professional women affiliated
with the North Carolina Home Builders
Association and the National Association of Home
Builders. This organization is the voice of
women in the building industry, dedicated to
promotion industry professionalism and
supporting our members at the local, state and
national level. Members include builders,
Subcontractors, Business Owners, Interior
Designers, Mortgage Bankers, Marketing Experts
and Sales Representatives.
Through our various fundraisers, we support the
NCHA Scholarship Fund. Through the years, we
have raised thousands of dollars for NC Build
Pac to support state and local candidates who
speak out for the building industry. This
support is critical for lawmakers whose
decisions reflect an understanding of our
business interests and concerns.
==============================================
Each year we look back on
the accomplishments we feel
great.
2008 was designated “A year
of Mentoring”. We have
helped the Pregnancy
Resource Center to find more
out about the building they
need repaired to use.
We have continued to work
with The Children’s Homes of
Iredell County. Their home
in now a reality, not just a
dream!
We have also donated time
and money to The Shepherd’s
Watch. This is a great
program if you would like to
sponsor a child or just send
your own children during the
summer.
We still look forward to the
Women Habitat built house.
What a great way to help,
raising money and working,
hands own.
Last but not least there is
Victory Junction in the
fall. This has continued to
be an exceptional experience
for each of us personally,
If you would like to find
